Pensions
Larry H asked:

Our Congessmen and Senators do not pay Social Security, vote their own raises, and draw lifetime pensions of about $65K even if convicted of a crime and thrown out of office. How can we stop this corruption and ripping off of the tax payer?

  3. For office on the platform of promising to do away with pensions etc.
For office on any issue so run for out representatives and have no mechanism for national referenda.

  4. What a fantastic idea, if it were only do-able. Change requires a concerted effort by many, who unfortunately are too busy focused on getting their bills paid and chores done, so although they believe they are being ripped off, they have no time or energy left to devote to change.
